Delete your account

You can delete your Two Chairs account at any time, from the app or by email. Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone.

In the app

Go to Profile → Delete account and confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] with the subject Delete my account and the phone number you signed up with, including the country code. We will confirm the request with you before deleting anything, and complete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and the phone number linked to it
• Your profile, including your name, date of birth, gender and location
• Your videos, from our app and our storage
• Your chats and every message in them. The whole conversation is removed, so the person you were talking to no longer sees it either.
• Your rankings, weekly assignments and matching scores
• The profile our matching system built from your videos
• Invite codes you own
• Blocks you placed on others, and blocks others placed on you

What is kept

• If you matched with someone, they still see that the match happened, shown as "Deleted user". Your name and videos are removed from it.
• Records we must keep by law, such as purchase records held by Apple or Google, are kept for as long as the law requires.
